Rabbits and Inters Golf
Golf for handicap indices of 7 upwards

'Inters'

'Inters' are any male players aged 18 or over, with a handicap index of 7.0 to 14.9 inclusive, thus bridging a gap between the Rabbit section and Scratch team possibilities. The 'Inters' section are often invited to participate alongside the Rabbits for Eclectics, or other competitions or events. The Inters are of course also eligible to play in many other Club competitions and additionally those offered by the York Union and East Riding Alliance, plus the NERGA Inter league.

Your participation is welcomed in any of the following:-
* Various internal Stableford scoring competitions, both qualifying and non-qualifying for individual handicap purposes.
* Senior Section Friendlies (if over age 55)
* NERGA League matches (handicap qualifying) for 7.0 to 14.9 handicap index within a zonal 'Inter' sub-section of the North East Rabbits’ Golf Association.
* Various match formats (qualifying and non-qualifying) within the York Union
* Various matches within the East Riding Alliance of clubs, played during the winter and for those with handicap index 14 and below.

'Rabbits'

Male members aged 18 or over, and with a handicap index of 15.0 to 54.0, automatically qualify as Rabbit golfers within Easingwold Golf Club. The Rabbits’ section aims to provide golf events at reasonably low cost, any net revenue generated then being contributed to the main Club finances. The section also provides a chance to play in external competitions – something which might otherwise be unavailable within the main Club for the higher handicap golfer.

We welcome your participation in any of the following, but please note that handicap index entry may be capped at a lower level than stated above:-
* Various internal Stableford scoring competitions, both qualifying and non-qualifying for individual handicap purposes - some of these being associated with main Club events and potentially resulting in specific Rabbit section trophies (see below).
* Friendly Rabbits' matches against other Clubs, playing home and away in alternate years to maximise the number of different opponents and other course experience.
* NERGA League matches (handicap qualifying) for 15.0 to 28.0 handicap index (when registered for 1st event of the season) within a zone of the North East Rabbits’ Golf Association.
* Knockout competitions and other events within the Yorkshire Rabbits' Golf Association - YRGA. Additionally, Harrogate Area of the YRGA, offer some Summer & Winter League matches.
* Senior Section Friendlies (if over age 55)
* HARGA League A league and 2 invitationals organised by the Harrogate Area Rabbit Golf Association
