28 Players teed off on a glorious winters morning, a slight shower threatened the early proceedings but sunshine was the order of the day!

The format was team stableford, best two from each three ball, as we were two short Bob Mapplebeck agreed to be the ghost card and returned a respectable 35 pts. All team scores on the day were better than par (perhaps due to the rusty nail) with the winning group achieving an unbelievable number of birdies to amass a score of 96 pts.

1st.      Harold Tomlinson, Tony Vickerman and Ron Whiteley with 96 pts.

2nd.     Mike Stead, Andrew Masom and Brian Wilkie with 94 pts.

3rd.      John Goddard, Mike Cooper and Roger Plows with 89 pts. after countback.
