The RABBITS section is for all male members aged 18+ with a handicap of 16-28.

There is no membership fee but all players pay £2 when taking part in away matches.

Friendly matches are played against other clubs in the Yorkshire and North East areas (See Fixtures).

Our first competition of the year usually takes place on the last Sunday of March when we compete for the Ben Rider Rabbits Trophy (Medal).

A new competition this year, probably in June, will be for the Bernard O' Gorman Claret Jug (Stableford).

In addition to the friendly and YRGA league matches we have several internal events from time to time, including:

• New Years Stableford
• Spring Stableford
• Captains Away Day at Otley
• Captain's  v Vice-Captain's team match.
• Summer Stableford.
• Open Away Days at Bingley St Ives & Kirkbymoorside
• Autumn Stableford
• Christmas Stableford.

The club's regular Medal competitions are open to all and Rabbit members are encouraged to play in these events and to support the club by taking part in the wider range of activities organised for all members, such as exchange days, club team matches and social events.

Our Rabbits Open Day will take place on Monday 7th Sept 2009 (see OPEN DAYS section for details and entry form).
