DRESS REQUIREMENTS

As is normal in the majority of golf clubs, we do require that a tidy and respectable standard of dress is maintained both on the course, and in the clubhouse.

Check the Details of the Dress Code if you wish, but the main points are as follows:

Trainers, and blue jeans are not permitted in the Lounge or in the Dining Room, but non-working jeans are permitted in the Games/TV Bar, and, for an experimental period, this will be considered to be a (soft) Spike Bar.

Combat/Cargo and, for men, cropped trousers are not permitted.

Shorts are welcome, but should be of the tailored variety, or similar. They should be of a length within 2” of the knee.

Beach shorts, football shorts, and similar types of lightweight sports shorts are definitely not acceptable.

Sports socks may be worn with shorts and should be predominately white. Long hose may be worn if wished.

T-shirts, vests, sun-tops or shirts designed for other sports are not permitted.

Gentlemen should wear shirts tucked into the waistband of their trousers or shorts.

Golf attire and shorts are not permitted in the dining room.
